Why Post a Partially Completed Website?
Simply stated: Finances!
We are a small congregation. We cannot afford to pay someone to build and maintain a website. Our Pastor serves as the webmaster. He paid for the programs (the Adobe Suite for Web Design), spent countless hours learning them (many of those hours filled with frustration), and will in the future bring this website to a high level of completion.
When God calls, we never put a stipulation on money. Therefore, our congregation and Pastor are working in a timely manner to bring this Site to completion.
The Biblical Reason:
We believe America is on a bobsled to hell, reaching far greater speeds than any Olympian could imagine. Furthermore, there is a famine in the land.
"Behold, the days come, saith the LORD God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but hearing the words of the LORD. And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it." (Amos 8:11)
There is also an invasion of dumb dogs in the pulpits of America.
"His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy, dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they . . . tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant." (Isaiah 56:10-12)
There is a gap to be filled.
"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none." (Ezekiel 22:30)
We, among others who refuse to bow the knee to Baal, have answered the call.
"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me." (Isaiah 6:8)
